Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ComedyBookers, LLC (“ComedyBookers,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit comedybookers.com (the “Website”), send us a booking request or question, or book a comedian through us (together, the “Services”). It also explains the choices you have.
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Use. Questions? Email us at info@comedybookers.com.
The short version
- We collect the information you send us so we can answer you and arrange your event, plus limited technical information needed to run and protect the Website.
- We use it to reply to you, put together options and pricing, and manage your booking. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
- We share event details with the comedian and any production crew working your event, and with service providers that help us run our business. We don’t share more than they need.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Booking requests and questions: your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, and role, plus event details such as the date and time, type of event, venue and location, audience size, budget, the comedians you’re interested in, your sound, lighting and staging needs, your message, and how you heard about us.
- Booking details: if you book with us, information needed to arrange and confirm the event, such as on-site contacts, schedules, technical requirements, and the information in your booking agreement and invoices.
- Payment information: when you pay a deposit or invoice, payments are handled by a payment processor. We receive confirmation of the payment and limited details, not your full card number.
- Communications: emails, calls, messages and feedback you send us, including reviews you choose to give about a comedian.
Information collected automatically
- Log and device information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit. Our hosting provider records this in server logs.
- Security checks: we may use Cloudflare Turnstile on our booking form to block spam and bots. Turnstile collects device and interaction signals for that purpose.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to your booking requests and questions
- recommend comedians, check availability, prepare quotes, and negotiate and confirm bookings
- prepare agreements and invoices, and take payments
- coordinate travel, schedules and technical needs with the comedian, your venue or AV team, and any production crew
- keep you updated as your booking moves forward, and follow up after your event
- protect the Website and our business from fraud, spam and abuse
- understand, in aggregate, how the Website is used so we can improve it
- comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations
If you agree to hear from us, we may occasionally send news about comedians or upcoming dates. You can unsubscribe at any time. We won’t add you to a mailing list just because you sent a booking request.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Comedians and production crew. To arrange your event, we share the event details they need, such as the date, time, venue, schedule, audience and technical requirements, and an on-site contact. Because we handle communication for you, we don’t pass your contact details to a comedian unless it’s needed for the event.
- Your venue or AV team, when we coordinate the technical side of your show at your request.
- Service providers who process information for us under contracts that limit how they use it. They include:
- GigTools (Jenisan, Inc.): the booking management software where we keep inquiries, bookings and agreements, along with its database and email providers
- Supabase: database and file storage for GigTools and this Website
- Vercel: hosting for the Website, and privacy-friendly Web Analytics (aggregated visit counts, no cookies)
- Cloudflare: Turnstile bot protection
- Email and payment providers we use to communicate with you and take payments
- Legal and safety reasons. We may share information if we believe it’s required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of ComedyBookers, our clients, our comedians or others.
- Business transfers. If ComedyBookers is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and this policy will continue to apply to it.
- With your consent, or at your direction.
Comedians on our roster
The names, photos, bios, videos and reviews of the comedians on this Website are published with their permission to promote their availability for bookings. Reviews shown on the Website are approved before they appear. If you’re a comedian and want something changed or removed, email us at info@comedybookers.com.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses very few cookies:
- Essential and security: needed for the Website and the booking form to work, including Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Embedded videos: comedian pages may show demo videos from YouTube or Vimeo. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, but these services may set their own cookies when you play a video. Their privacy policies apply.
- Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages lead to booking requests. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t follow you across other websites, and reports only aggregated numbers. Visitors are not identified individually.
We don’t use advertising or social media tracking cookies. Our fonts are served from our own website, not from a third party. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep information
We keep booking requests and booking records for as long as we need them to serve you and run our business, and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. If you send a request that doesn’t turn into a booking, you can ask us to delete it at any time. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, bot protection and limited internal access. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, by email or through the booking form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we have about you and give you a copy of it
- correct information that’s wrong
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons
- stop sending you marketing emails (you can also use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email)
To make a request, email info@comedybookers.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

As explained above, we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

Our service providers may process information in the United States.
Children
The Services are intended for adults planning events and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
